My 6-Day China Travel Adventure: Chengdu, Chongqing, and Xi'an

My 6-Day China Travel Adventure: Chengdu, Chongqing, and Xi'an

Hi, I’m Sun from Singapore, and I recently embarked on an incredible 6-day trip to China, visiting Chengdu, Chongqing, and Xi'an. Since Singaporeans don't need a visa for China, I booked my flight and started my adventure without any hassle.

Day 1-2: Chengdu

My journey began in Chengdu, famous for its adorable giant pandas and spicy cuisine. The panda base was an unforgettable experience, watching these gentle giants play and eat bamboo. The food in Chengdu was amazing, with hot pot being the highlight of my culinary journey.

Day 3-4: Chongqing

Next, I headed to Chongqing, known for its mountainous landscapes and delicious hot pot. The city’s night views were breathtaking, and a river cruise on the Yangtze offered stunning scenes of illuminated skyscrapers. I also enjoyed exploring the ancient town of Ciqikou, with its narrow streets and local snacks.

Day 5-6: Xi'an

Finally, I arrived in Xi'an, the highlight of my trip. My first stop was the Terracotta Warriors Museum. As soon as I saw the warriors, I was absolutely amazed. The tour guide explained that the reproductions symbolize good luck and guardian angels. Inspired by this, I visited the nearby factory and bought three 45cm Generals – one for my neighbor and one for my friend, whose birthday is coming up. These beautiful figurines make perfect gifts, rich in cultural significance and history.

Why You Should Visit Xi'an

Xi'an is a city steeped in history and culture. If you’re ever in China, I strongly recommend visiting Xi'an and exploring the Terracotta Warriors Museum. And if you want something truly special, get a general from Clayarmy – you won't regret it!

This trip was short but packed with unforgettable experiences. I can't wait for my next adventure in China!
